Brenda Sanchez(she/her)
Associate Therapist
Brenda Sanchez is a bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist with a background in community mental health, forensic social work, and trauma-informed care. She has supported individuals and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.
As a Latina, first-generation immigrant, and single mother, Brenda understands how culture, identity, family expectations, and lived experiences shape emotional well-being. Her personal and professional journey has strengthened her passion for supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, students, young adults, and those navigating identity, self-esteem, and unhealthy relationship patterns.
At the heart of Brenda's approach is building genuine therapeutic relationships rooted in trust, compassion, and authenticity. She believes meaningful healing begins when clients feel safe, heard, and comfortable being themselves.
At Prism Therapy, Brenda strives to create a warm, culturally responsive, and LGBTQ+ affirming space where clients can break unhealthy patterns, challenge stigmas, overcome barriers, and embrace their authentic selves.
For Brenda, therapy isn't about changing who you are — it's about discovering your strengths, building meaningful connections, and growing into the person you want to be.
